Service Terms and Conditions
Scheduling and Appointments
- All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our website, phone, or email
- We provide 2-hour arrival windows for scheduled appointments
- Customers must be present during service or designate an authorized representative
- Access to the property and items for removal must be readily available
- Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled appointment
Pricing and Payment
- Pricing is based on volume, weight, and type of items being removed
- Estimates provided are subject to change based on actual job scope
- Payment is due upon completion of services
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- Additional fees may apply for difficult access, hazardous materials, or same-day service
- All prices include labor, transportation, and disposal fees unless otherwise specified
Items We Remove
We remove most household and commercial items, including:
- Furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Construction debris and renovation waste
- Yard waste and outdoor equipment
- Office furniture and equipment
- General household clutter and debris
Prohibited Items
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot remove:
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, asbestos, etc.)
- Medical waste and biohazardous materials
- Radioactive materials
- Explosives, ammunition, or weapons
- Wet paint or materials with wet paint
- Items containing freon (unless properly drained)
- Tires (some exceptions apply)
- Concrete, brick, or dirt in large quantities
Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about items to be removed
- Ensure safe and clear access to all items for removal
- Point out any valuable items you wish to keep
- Inform us of any hazardous or prohibited materials
- Obtain necessary permits or permissions for removal from common areas
- Secure or remove personal items and valuables from areas being cleared
- Provide payment upon completion of services
Liability and Insurance
Our Coverage
Gardner Junk Removal is fully licensed and insured. Our liability insurance covers damage to your property caused by our negligence during the normal course of our work.
Limitations
Our liability is limited to:
- The cost of the service provided
- Direct damages only (no consequential damages)
- Claims reported within 48 hours of service completion
Customer Property
We are not responsible for items mistakenly removed due to unclear instructions or items left in removal areas. Please clearly identify items to be kept.
Environmental Responsibility
We are committed to environmentally responsible disposal practices:
- We donate usable items to local charities when possible
- We recycle materials according to local regulations
- We dispose of hazardous materials at appropriate facilities
- We minimize landfill waste through sorting and processing
- We follow all local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Customer Cancellations
- Cancellations with 4+ hours notice: No charge
- Cancellations with less than 4 hours notice: $50 fee
- No-shows or same-day cancellations: $100 fee
Weather and Emergency Cancellations
We may cancel or reschedule services due to severe weather, emergencies, or unsafe conditions. No fees apply for company-initiated cancellations.
Dispute Resolution
We strive to resolve all disputes amicably. Our dispute resolution process includes:
- Direct communication with our customer service team
- Management review of the issue
- Mediation through a neutral third party if necessary
- Arbitration as a final resort for unresolved disputes
